It’s graduation season and as Ulster University celebrates the success of its Class of 2023, the University has been rated by its students as number one university across the UK for graduate employability and job prospects.
Collating UK university rankings based on 24,041 verified student reviews across the UK over the last two years, review platform StudentCrowd has also placed Ulster University as sixth in the UK for the best overall university.
Ulster University has also been ranked in the top 10 across the UK in the following categories:
- 3rd in the UK for value for money
- 4th best university in the UK for careers services
- 5th for course content
- 6th for wifi and internet services
- 8th for campus and facilities
- 9th for personal tutoring support
Just outside of the top 10, the University has been ranked 11th for teaching quality while the Ulster University Students' Union has been ranked 14th best in the UK. Students also ranked Belfast as 4th in the UK for best university location.
Welcoming the results, Vice-Chancellor Professor Paul Bartholomew said:
“As we celebrate the successes of our graduates and buoyed by the visit earlier this year to our Belfast campus by US President Joe Biden, we’re delighted to see our world-leading university being recognised once again. This time it is our students advocating for us, which is a reflection of the hard work of all Ulster University staff across the board who put students at the heart of what they do.
“As we look towards the next academic year, we will be building on these results and ensuring future generations of Ulster University students and graduates will enjoy a top university experience at all at our campuses and go on to build successful careers in many different fields.”
