The graduation ceremonies for full-time and part-time students at the University of Ulster concluded today as students from the University’s Magee campus received their awards.

In the morning ceremony students from the Ulster Business School and the Faculty of Life and Health Sciences received their awards.

At the ceremony, William Joseph Flynn received the honorary degree of Doctor of Laws (LLD) in recognition of services to peace andreconciliation.

In the closing ceremony, held in the afternoon ceremony students from the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Computing and Engineering received their awards.

At the ceremony Gary Lightbody received the honorary degree of Doctor of Letters (DLitt) for services to the music industry.
