Staff and students are being encouraged to enter their brilliant business ideas into the NISP CONNECT annual £25K Awards.

The search is on for the next big thing in Hitech, Biotech, Cleantech and Digital Media and Software.

Tim Brundle, Director of Innovation at Ulster, said: “The £25k Awards provide a unique opportunity for our students, researchers and staff members to showcase their creativity, talent, innovative ideas and business skills while challenging them to explore the commercial potential of their ideas.

“I would encourage any student, researcher or member of staff who has a business idea to come along to one of these information sessions.”

As well as potential financial rewards, the competition provides participants with an opportunity to access professional mentoring support, networking opportunities, team building, planning skills and a greater insight into what it takes to commercialise innovative ideas.
