Centre Director Joins Launch of New All-Party Group on Artificial Intelligence at Stormont

Our Director, John Keers BL, took part in the launch of the newly established All-Party Group on Artificial Intelligence at Stormont — a significant development in advancing informed and responsible AI policy in Northern Ireland.

The launch included valuable contributions from speakers across the sector, featuring findings from the AI Pulse survey and an insightful presentation by Tadhg Hickey, who will be supporting the group in a secretariat role.

The Centre welcomes the creation of the APG and looks forward to contributing to its work as it builds stronger connections between policymakers, industry, and academia and helps guide the region’s approach to AI.
