Advancing Justice Through Technology: Launch of the Oxford Institute of Technology and Justice

The Centre for Legal Technology (CLT) is proud to be represented by John Keers BL (Director) and John McCord (Research Lead) at the launch of the Oxford Institute of Technology and Justice.

This landmark initiative, a collaboration between the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, the Clooney Foundation for Justice, and Microsoft, brings together global expertise to harness technology in advancing access to justice.

Under the leadership of Amal Clooney and Philippa Webb, the Institute is working to expand access to legal aid, strengthen accountability for cyberattacks, and establish standards that protect fair trial rights as artificial intelligence becomes more deeply embedded in legal systems.

The CLT team expresses its gratitude to the organisers and partners for the opportunity to participate in such an inspiring and forward-looking event.
