TJI appoints new intern, Toni Ojoyeyi, from University of Minnesota.

A native Minnesotan, Toni Ojoyeyi is currently pursuing her J.D. at the University of Minnesota School of Law. In May 2014, she completed her Bachelors at the University of Minnesota. She studied Political Science with an emphasis in International Politics and Spanish Studies. Toni is interested in research that focuses on gender and politics. Her other research interests include restorative justice, business and human rights, the economics of family planning, and comparative analysis of developing countries. Toni has also had various experiences volunteering and coordinating with human rights organizations. In addition to being Vice President of the DC chapter of the Asylum Law Project, Toni has also done volunteer work with CLUES and the Minnesota Justice Foundation.  Toni will work with TJI, as an intern, on the forthcoming Summer School on Transitional Justice on the theme of Gender, Conflict and Preventing and Countering Terrorism and Violent Extremism: International, Regional and Local Dimensions which takes place from 12 June to 16 June 2017.
