From 12th-14th January 2024, Juliana Poveda Clavijo (TJI PhD Researcher) attended the SLSA Postgraduate Research Conference at Northumbria University in Newcastle. Reflecting on her experience, Juliana notes:
"Thanks to the SLSA for organizing the Postgraduate Research Conference 2024 and the Northumbria University (Newcastle) for hosting it. 50 PhD researchers, most of us in our first year, had the enriching opportunity of reflecting together and with experienced researchers about the core skills and abilities developed during the PhD journey. All of us interested in sociolegal approaches in our studies learned more about ethics, presenting our research topics, publishing, pursuing academic jobs, and, overall, developing reflexivity as regards our time management and well-being."
