Queen's University Belfast and Ulster University are delighted to jointly host the 15th Irish North/South Criminology Conference between Monday 17th and Wednesday 19th June, 2024. The theme of this year's conference is:

Criminology in Times of Conflict: Rights, Harms and Responsibilities 

In an era marked by heightened global tensions and systemic injustices, the conference will ask critical questions of the role of criminological research in dissecting and responding to a range of contemporary conflicts. The conference will feature plenaries and keynotes from an array of leading academics, with sessions focusing on the intersection of criminology and human rights in recognising and responding to the harms of genocide, global conflict, the criminalisation of migration, and the anatomy of institutional abuse.
