It was wonderful to reconnect with our vibrant alumni community in Dublin last night along with our colleagues at Ulster University Business School. It is a great pleasure of our collective work to bring people together, create opportunities to spark new connections, and inspire new ideas.

Inspiration is exactly what our panel of experts delivered. We were delighted to be joined by AI leaders: Ulster University alumni, Aislinn McBride, Kainos, and Chris Mullan, Dell, as well as Dr Sam Moore from Ulster University’s School of Computing. Special thanks to Alan Lavery KPMG who expertly facilitated the thoughtful discussion.

The panel encouraged guests to explore AI with curiosity and remain open to developing new skills to apply AI ethically in the context of their own work environments.

Key takeaway: AI cannot replace human creativity; the power is in how AI can be cultivated and adapted to respond to business challenges that enable companies to focus on delivering their core work and lead to better outcomes for people.

Special thanks to the team at Platform X whose hospitality was fantastic and another highlight of the evening.
