UU Connects: Reconnecting with Alumni & Supporters in Boston

Ulster University’s Alumni Team travelled to Boston earlier this month reconnect our graduates, supporters and other key stakeholders in the Greater Boston area.

During the visit, staff met with the Board of American Friends of Ulster University (AFUU) for our Annual General Meeting to discuss future advancement priorities and efforts.

The Alumni Team then had the privilege of attending the Golden Bridges Awards which honoured three Ulster University alumni who are now living in the Greater Boston and who actively strive to strengthen transatlantic connections.

We rounded off the visit with a wonderfully warm and energetic alumni reception at The Dubliner pub, owned by our graduate, Oran McGonagle. It was a fantastic evening spent reconnecting with dozens of alumni, friends and supporters from across the Boston area, and was a poignant reminder of the strong and far-reaching Ulster University alumni network.
