We are delighted to invite all graduates of Ulster University and its predecessor institutions to the Annual General Meeting of Convocation.
- Date: Thursday, 22 October 2026
- Time: Commencing at 6pm with light refreshments and networking, with formal proceedings at 6:30pm.
- Location: The Birley Building, BA-00-008 - The Enterprise Hub, Ulster University Belfast campus
About the AGM
This year, there will be an election for the position of Chair of the Convocation Executive Committee, in addition to five vacancies on the Committee.
Election to the Convocation Executive Committee
At the 2026 AGM, elections will be held for the Convocation Executive Committee. The committee typically meets four or five times annually to address issues concerning Ulster University, choose the Undergraduate and Postgraduate of the Year, and organise the Annual Lecture.
If you are interested in standing for election to the Executive Committee or would like further information, please submit an expression of interest to 'Convocation@ulster.ac.uk' by 12pm (GMT) on Wednesday, 14 October 2026.
Election for the position of Chair of the Convocation Executive Committee
The 2026 AGM will include an election for the Chair of the Convocation Executive Committee, a position currently which is held by an existing Executive Committee member. Information about the candidates and voting procedures for Convocation members will be available on this website starting Thursday, 8 October 2026.
