Sharon entered academia in 1998, with the aim of transforming how business/marketing education is envisioned, experienced and enacted, by making much-needed, professionally-relevant advancements in knowledge and understanding of what value is, how it is created, and how it can be sustained over time.
She challenges and changes interpretations of foundational business/marketing ideologies through applying and disseminating the fruits of her multi-disciplinary and multi-agency research and scholarship into value, its creation and sustainability, in all aspects of her professional practice.
Sharon's ongoing capacity to effectively lead innovative, reputable, sustainable, professionally-relevant strategic developments (e.g. curriculum design/delivery; learning/teaching/assessment; education branding; student experience enhancement) is underpinned by a unique appreciation of the transformative power of continuous, creative re-invention (e.g. of self, company, product, brand).
