Overview

Dr. Mohamed Elnaem is a senior clinical pharmacy educator and researcher with extensive academic experience in higher education institutions across Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and the United Kingdom. Currently serving as a lecturer in clinical pharmacy at Ulster University, he specialises in the quality use of medicines, digital health, health service research, and pharmacy education. Dr. Elnaem has established a strong publication record in internationally recognised peer-reviewed journals.

He holds memberships and fellowships with several prestigious professional organisations, including the Higher Education Academy, the Royal Society for Public Health, the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, the International Diabetes Federation, and the International Pharmaceutical Federation. Additionally, Dr. Elnaem contributes to the academic community as an editorial board member and associate editor for various prominent pharmacy journals.

His professional journey is characterised by leadership in research initiatives, numerous editorial responsibilities, and a steadfast commitment to enhancing pharmacy practice and education through international collaboration and innovative research.

Research Interests

Dr. Elnaem’s research interests are quality use of medicines, digital health, health service research and pharmacy education. He has experience employing different quantitative and qualitative research methods in clinical research.
