As Northern Ireland's civic university, Ulster promotes consultancy as a practical way to put our knowledge and expertise to work for the benefit of business and the wider community. Each year over 200 academics share their expertise and provide innovative business solutions to thousands of external clients locally and internationally, supporting interventions in advanced manufacturing, the creative industries, the renewables sector, operations management and life and clinical care.

Many businesses choose to work with Ulster University through a direct paid-for consultancy option, others use external funding to support innovation activity.
