Ulster University has announced a major boost for postgraduate education in the North West with the launch of funded postgraduate programmes in Derry~Londonderry including Masters programmes worth £7,240.
Applications are now open for a range of programmes starting in September 2025, spanning cutting-edge fields including International Business, Sustainable Management, Accounting and Artificial Intelligence.
With limited places, these programmes offer learners across the North West – and beyond – the chance to gain high-value qualifications. The funded places are supported by the Department for the Economy and aim to open doors for those looking to enhance or pivot their careers.

- PGCert International Business
- PGCert Sustainable Management
With AI-specific courses in high demand, applications are now closed for a September start, however, do watch out on the Ulster University website for the launch of another AI-focused short course, Applied Artificial Intelligence in Ethical Contexts, which will open soon for January 2026.

All courses will be delivered by Ulster University staff with deep expertise in their fields, and many feature input from industry to ensure learning is directly aligned with employer needs.
