Ulster University’s UNIQUE Art and Design Shop supports and enables Belfast School of Art students and alumni to sell and showcase their incredible talent across a wide range of creative media.

The shop has been closed for much of the past year, impacting significantly on revenue, so UNIQUE staff are holding a raffle to raise some much-needed funds. All money generated from the raffle will be redirected into the shop to enable the continuation of support for students and alumni.

Professor Raffaella Folli, Provost of Belfast and Jordanstown, commented:

“UNIQUE has become an integral part of the Belfast campus, not simply as the place to discover quirky home, fashion, giftware and artwork by Ulster students, staff and alumni, but crucially as a learning space, an event venue which welcomes a wide range of community users, and a forum for creative exploration and enterprise.  As we draw to the end of this challenging academic year, I would welcome colleagues’ support for this virtual raffle – your contribution will help secure the future of UNIQUE as a valuable asset for the campus.”

Tickets are priced at £5 and available to purchase from the UNIQUE webstore at  unique.ulster.ac.uk. The winner will receive a UNIQUE Artshop hamper, comprising a range of items by artists such as Anna Smyth, Charlie Maxwell, Duhvassa Art and Lisa Robson.

Entries for the raffle close on Friday 23rd April, and the draw will take place at 5pm on the same day.
