Ulster University has today launched a catalogue of industry specific postgraduate study webinars in line with Covid-19 recovery plans for those who want to upskill to climb their career ladder, pursue a new career path or delve further into a topic of personal interest.

The webinar series will run throughout the month of June and will put students in virtual contact with sector specific experts and student support teams to provide an in-depth insight into the benefits of postgraduate study, the application process, finance options and student support available.

Roisin McCart, Head of Strategic Marketing at Ulster University commented:

“Research has shown that those with a postgraduate qualification are 20 per cent more likely to gain high skilled employment* and earn on average earn £8,000 per year more than graduates, an average of £266,000 over a lifetime in employment**.  Recently we have witnessed an increase in interest for postgraduate study and this webinar series will provide all of the information any prospective applicants need to know to make an informed decision.

The webinar series includes interactive sessions in areas such as Law, Engineering, Finance and IT, as well as helpful advice on fees and funding support. Future applicants can also discuss what type of study is best for them, with a wide range of short-courses, part-time and full-time study options available.
