Eligibility

This academic programme is open to students within the Belfast School of Architecture and the Built Environment.

A maximum of 8 places are available.

Please note: You can apply for only one academic programme.

Apply for this programme

Through this academic programme you will have the opportunity to see how different professions in the built environment collaborate in Philadelphia to create healthier places and communities. You will gain an understanding of how architecture, planning and environmental health function in Philadelphia and be able to appreciate of how these systems, working independently and collaboratively, can deliver on ways to enhance social and environment well-being. You will also have the opportunity to go on different US University Campus visits, and take part in workshops with guest academic staff.

University of Pennsylvania or Jefferson University Campus visit for joint workshop on health communities with staff/student from University of Pennsylvania City and Regional Planning and Urban Studies, Jefferson University Sustainable Design, Temple University City Planning and Bryn Mawr (and Haverford) College Growth and Structure of Cities.
