Who should attend

The Football Coaching Summer Camp is designed for both aspiring and experienced coaches who wish to specialise in coaching within schools.

What you will learn

You will learn how to deliver a unique football curriculum, which covers fundamental movement, technical development, age-specific tactical progression, video analysis and reflective practice in coaching.

During the 10-day programme you will explore the coaching cycle, gaining relevant knowledge and understanding of key principles of coaching to maximise effective coaching performance.

What you will attain

As part of the programme you will develop a personal coaching journal.

Upon successful completion of the Summer Camp you will be awarded the following:

Level One International Coaching Award from the Irish Football Association.

Performance Analysis and Coaching Certificate from Ulster University.

Football in Northern Ireland

As part of the Summer Camp you will also have the opportunity to explore the culture of Northern Ireland and all it has to offer.

The cultural programme will include visits to:

  • The Dark Hedges, also known as the King’s Road in the HBO series, Game of Thrones
  • The Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Titanic Belfast the world’s largest Titanic visitor experience.

Accommodation

You will stay in our on-campus student village in high-quality accommodation with en-suite facilities and share kitchen/dining.
