Our PhD researcher Danielle Roberts, has just co-authored this paper with Dr Jamie Hagen and Dr Maria-Adriana Deiana in the European Journal of Politics and Gender. The paper examines how gender-neutral policy can depoliticise gender and marginalise trans people, and discusses how intersectional and gender-aware politics resists reproducing the gender binary when promoting gender equality.
