In June 2020 Prof Cath Collins published bilingual (English and Spanish) chapters on Lustration and on Investigation and Prosecution of Regime Crimes, in the Chile edition of the ‘Memory of Nations: Democratic Transition Guide’, published by CEVRO, a Czech NGO.
The Guide is aimed at opinion leaders interested in promotion of democracy, human rights and the rule of law in their transitioning home countries, providing a practical manual summarising lessons learned by other countries in areas such as security service reform, constitutional and political change, the preservation of archives etc.
A total of 13 country experiences, including Argentina, Cambodia, Egypt, Poland, Russia and South Africa, are presently covered.
