We are delighted to share the news that Dr Nisan Alici has secured a book contract with Routledge to publish Transitional Justice and the Kurdish Conflict: A Victim-Centred Analysis as part of their Transitional Justice Series. The book will be based on research for Nisan’s PhD which she completed at TJI in 2022 under the supervision of Prof Siobhán Wills and Prof Brandon Hamber.
By putting the victims’ and other grassroots actors’ experiences and understandings at the centre, this book will aim to provide new insights into transitional justice knowledge and practice through an in-depth analysis of the overarching research question: What future directions should transitional justice work take in Turkey?
