Congratulations to Tim Cunningham on his successful viva defence on 16 October 2020.
Tim’s thesis is on ‘The Architecture of Conflict’ examining the various ways in which patterns of spatial inequality between the main two communities in Belfast have shaped, and been shaped by, political conflict.
The examiners were Prof Brendan O’Leary (Pennsylvania) and Prof Brandon Hamber (Ulster), with Dr Jackie Reilly as chair.
Tim’s supervisors were Prof Rory O’Connell and Dr Anne Smith.
