Dr Cira Palli-Aspero will be starting a new job with PlayBoard-NI. In her new role, she will be the administrator/co-ordinator of “Our Generation”, a new three-year cross border project founded by the European Union’s PEACE IV Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). “Our Generation” has the aim to build positive relations in communities impacted by four decades of the Troubles across the island of Ireland.
Through research, policy recommendations and community development programs, the team will work to address the intergenerational impact of the trauma and build emotional resilience and peace for generations to come.
