Hearty congratulations to Omar El Masri who passed his viva on Monday afternoon.
Omar’s thesis was a comparative urban case study entitled "Re-Imagining Spaces for Representation in Divided Cities: The Cases of Urban Street Art in 'Post'-Conflict Beirut and Belfast". The thesis was examined by Dr Craig Larkin (King’s College London) and Dr Máire Braniff (Ulster). Dr Fidelma Ashe acted as chair.
Omar’s supervisor were Dr Kris Brown and Dr Rachel Monaghan.
