The launch of Gendering Constitutional Conversations Report chaired by Senator Frances Black was held in Buswell’s Hotel, Dublin 2, on 6 December and was attended by 60 guests. The launch brought civil society women’s organisations from NI and ROI together with TDs and Senators from across the political parties in the Oireachtas.
The findings from the research were presented by Prof. Fidelma Ashe, followed by a Q&A with the research team, which includes Eilish Rooney and Dr Joanna McMinn. Considerations about inclusionary practices and extending the work detailed in the report dominated the discussions. The event was hosted by TJI and ARINS.
