Update your Room/Telephone number

If you wish to update your telephone number or room number in outlook or staff business card please email your updated details to telephones@ulster.ac.uk.

Reboot Polycom

• If the phone is not connected via a PC there should be one cable connected in the back of the phone.  Removal and reconnection will allow a reboot.
• If the phone is connected via a PC there should two cables connected in the back of the phone. One to the network port and one connected to the PC. Please note removal of the network cable connection will reboot the phone but will also disconnect the PC from the network so ensure the PC all work is saved before disconnection.

Software reset on an iPhone

1. Press and hold the Power button (located on the top right edge) until "slide to power off" appears then release. ...
2. Slide the Power switch right. ...
3. With the device powered off, press and hold the Power button until the Apple logo appears then release

Hardware reset on an iPhone

1. Press and hold the Lock/Wake button on the right side of phone
2. At the same time, press and hold down the Volume Down button on the left side while keeping the Lock/Wake button pressed
3. Keep holding both buttons until the screen turns black and then switches back on the display the Apple logo.
4. Wait a couple of seconds until your iPhone boots up completely and displays the lock screen.
