About this opportunity

In Spring 2024, eligible students will be invited to apply for the Ulster University Richard K. Degenhardt Belleek Collectors’ Scholarships 2024.

These Scholarships were established by the Founder and Chair of these scholarships, Dr Linda Beard, and are funded through the ongoing personal commitment and efforts of Dr Beard as well as the generosity of many individuals and groups including Belleek collectors world-wide, international Belleek Chapters, special friends and family of Richard K. Degenhardt, the Belleek Pottery and the Belleek Collectors’ International Society.

There are three international scholarship awards presented annually to either undergraduate or postgraduate students of the University engaged in study in the fields of Ceramics and Irish/Celtic Studies.

Irish/Celtic Studies is a wide category that includes students of music, literature, history, geography and media studies if the focus of their research or study encompasses Irish and Celtic issues.
