University of Ulster graduate and world-renowned picture book artist, Oliver Jeffers, will share the secrets of his success with young people and creative industry leaders this weekend.

The New York based illustrator and author is headlining the Humdinger Children’s Book Festival in Derry~Londonderry on Saturday 29 March.

He will reveal the diversity of commercial opportunities that exist for creative talent in Northern Ireland and inspire local artists to achieve international success in the industry.

Jeffers’ homecoming is supported by Honeycomb Creative Works, an EU INTERREG 1VA funded programme, aimed at maximising the economic potential of the creative industries, led by the University of Ulster.
