Embedding EDI in the Curriculum – Share Your Practice
Are you actively embedding Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) into your teaching or learning support practices? The EDI in the Curriculum CoP is inviting staff from across Ulster University to submit a case study that highlights how you embed EDI through your curriculum or student learning support.
Whether you have redesigned a module to better reflect diverse perspectives, created inclusive assessments through including choice, built a stronger sense of belonging through co-creation with learners, or developed a set of activities or workshops to support learner agency, your work can help spark new ideas for others and build momentum for change.
By sharing your case study, you will be contributing to a growing community committed to inclusive education. All submissions will be shared to support reflection, dissemination, and cross-institutional learning.
The cases studies are a part of the Learning Matters blog post where your submission will be peer reviewed and given a DOI number for publication purposes. Why not download the case study template and start to consider sharing your practice. The template is a guide and not prescriptive. The format can be in different formats, e.g. a text version (as per the template), a video or podcast/file format. It is important when designing any of the formats that you consider designing content as accessible as possible .
Let’s learn from each other. Share your story and help build a more inclusive future.
We are particularly interested in examples that align with the six pillars of the EDI in the Curriculum Toolkit
