Outline of Activity

The vision of the MarTech Laboratory is to bring together an important network of stakeholders and engage them with our project-based learning approaches. Projects are led by students and engage what we term the ‘6S’ community (Students, Specialists, Start-ups, Social enterprises, Sustainability focused or Social good projects) to achieve the following objectives (O):

  • Enhance student employability skills through support and guidance from industrial specialists with up-to-date digital marketing expertise in an active learning environment.
  • Improve student engagement through real-world project collaborating with the ‘6S’ community at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels.
  • Grow the ‘6S’ community through workshops focused on the development of industry competence and partnerships.
    Enjoy micro-internship opportunities for our students through the development of applied digital skills to help solve real-world challenges.

Key to student success is:

  • Completing accreditations in Digital Marketing technology (MarTech)
  • Attending industry insight events and learning from industry professionals
  • Become eligible for micro internships and develop their future employability opportunities

Learning Outcomes

Students will become MarTech Software accredited and learn to deliver value for clients through the process.

Participants gain this through:

  • Completing accreditations in Digital Marketing technology (MarTech)

  • Become eligible for micro internships and develop their future employability opportunities
  • Networking with likeminded students and building their knowledge together 6S community networking events will also build key competencies and knowledge for our participants.

Assessment Details

Students complete 3 accreditations:

  • Inbound marketing
  • SEO and/or Social Media Marketing
  • MarTech Software Certification

Level of Commitment

Project responsibilities and accreditation: 20 hours +
