Google Analytics for Beginners and Advanced Google Analytics shows new users how to create an account, implement tracking code, and set up data filters.

Outline of Activity

Students will learn how to navigate the Google Analytics interface and reports, and set up dashboards and shortcuts. These 2 short courses will also demonstrate how to analyse basic Audience, Acquisition, and Behavior reports, and set up goals and campaign tracking.

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this activity students will learn how to use configurations like Custom Dimensions, Custom Metrics, and Event Tracking to collect data that's specific to your business.

The more advanced part will teach students analysis techniques using segmentation, channel reports, audience reports, and custom reports, as well as marketing strategies like remarketing and Dynamic Remarketing that show ads to customers who have visited specific websites.

Assessment Details

Completion of the online courses to achieve certification by undertaking the online quizzes within each of the short courses (need to provide both certificates as proof of assessment).

Level of Commitment

18 hours to cover course content and 4 hours for assessment
