Department for the Economy (DfE) provides studentships that pay PhD researchers' full tuition fees, provide an annual stipend of not less than £20,780 (pro rata for part-time awards), and offer an annual training grant of £900  (pro rata for part-time awards).

For candidates awarded a DfE studentship the DfE Terms and Conditions will form part of your contract with the University and as such PhD researchers should be familiar with the document.
