Using your ID Card as a Car Parking Ticket
Step 1
Scan your card on entry to the car park over the area on the entry column.
Step 2
On preparing to leave the campus go to the pay station and scan your ID card at the pay station – do not insert into the machine.
This will activate the Ulster student and staff hourly tariff charge – pay the fee.
Step 3
On leaving the campus scan your ID card at the exit barrier.
Using Your ID Card to Obtain the Student Rate when you have pulled a paper ticket
Step 1
Take your ticket to the pay station and insert.
Step 2
To obtain Ulster parking rate then hold your ID card to the pad below where your ticket has been inserted (see below)
This will activate the Ulster student and staff hourly tariff charge – pay the fee.
Step 3
On leaving the campus use your paper ticket to exit.
Step 4
Your card should not be used to obtain this rate for other car park users and any abuse identified will be referred to the relevant authorities.
