Ulster University’s Coleraine campus is well connected by public transport and active travel routes. Located just an 8-minute walk from the University Rail Halt, and with bus stops on campus, it’s easy to reach whether you're walking, cycling, taking the train or bus, or driving.

On foot

Easily accessible on foot

The University Train Station is an 8 minute walk to campus and bus stop is located within the campus.

Coleraine town centre is a 40 minute walk.

By Bike

Cycling is an enjoyable and healthy way to get to campus.

The Coleraine campus has a dedicated Cycle hub in Block J with locker storage, showers and changing, and cycle parking.

The Hub is access controlled and free to use.

Staff and students should register for access stating name and staff/student number by emailing Carparks at Ulster.

Other outdoor cycle parking locations are located throughout the campus.

Are you 16-23 years old?

You can avail of the yLink Smartcard with up to 50% of bus and rail travel.

We are short walk from the halt

At Coleraine Train Station, travel to Ulster University on the Portrush line.

The University Rail Halt is an 8 minute walk to campus.

Well serviced with bus and coach services

The Belfast Campus is well serviced with local bus and regional coach services.

The U1 & U2 Bus Services operate during term time to get you to and from the Belfast Campus and Jordanstown.

By Car

Car parking available

There is car parking available for those who need to drive to the campus.

We would encourage you to consider carsharing with your fellow students or colleagues if driving to campus. Sharing rides not only reduces your carbon footprint but also helps you save on fuel costs and parking costs. Ulster University is also a member of Liftshare, which is a flexible platform for staff that helps connect colleagues who want to share car journeys and save themselves some money. You don’t need to have a car to get started as you can register as a passenger.
