We have a range of FREE Computing and Business courses which offer pathways to careers in sectors which require high skilled, well-paid employees to fill gaps in the job market. These programmes offer the opportunity to work towards changing career or to build upon and update your knowledge within your current chosen career.

This is a fantastic opportunity to bounce back from the recent disruption to your career.

Courses will be taught fully online, delivered by our experienced course teams who will fully support you throughout the programme with a combination of online lectures, tutorials and other online resource tools.

There are also opportunities to progress to full Masters programmes on completion.

Computing Courses

Leading IT companies both locally and across GB & Ireland are reporting a shortage in the number of skilled employees within the IT sector.

Our Computing courses are funded by the Department for the Economy and are designed to give those who have been impacted by COVID-19 an opportunity to upskill and retrain in priority areas.

If you already have a Computing background, then you could benefit from our Programming and Cloud Computing modules which earn you credits points towards a full PG Certificate of Professional Development.

Counselling Modules

Our counselling modules are funded by the Department for the Economy and are designed to give those who have been impacted by COVID-19 an opportunity to upskill and retrain in priority areas.

If you already have a counselling or health communication related background then you could benefit from getting the skills needed to get your career moving again. Modules include; The Counselling & Therapeutic Framework, Fundamentals in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Health Communication, key areas that will equip you with intellectual and practical skills required for effective professional communication and ethical decision-making within the workplace.

Successful completion of these modules can be used towards the attainment of a Postgraduate Certificate of Professional Development.

If you already have a background in Engineering, Science or Technology, this free programme offers you the chance to move into the rapidly expanding renewable energy sector. Get the specialist skills you need, delivered by our expert team, who will support your throughout the course.

Successful completion of the PG Certificate in Energy Management & Green Technology will offer you the chance to progress to the full Masters programme.

Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences
