About
This module examines a range of theoretical and practical issues surrounding business sustainability and innovation. The use of case studies to apply business models will help you develop an understanding of key business concepts including entrepreneurship, innovation, creativity, value creation and value capture.
The development of business model use in teams will immerse you in key methods of innovation and value propositions, which are relevant for contemporary managers as well as aspiring entrepreneurs.

- Theme 3 (Day 3) Business Sustainability and Management Accounting
This module is worth 20 credits.
This course will help those who work in the hospitality and tourism industry gain new insight and knowledge with a view to taking these into the workplace.
Progression
This is a core module within both our MSc International Tourism and Hospitality Management and MSc International Event Management. If you wish to progress your studies on completion of the module you can gain advanced standing onto the PgCert or the full MSc.

Delivery format
Teaching will be delivered face-to-face on the Belfast campus.
The course is taught over 3 days with 3 follow up learning sets.
Students must attend all learning sets.
The module is assessed 100% through coursework.

Entry requirements
You hold a Second-Class Honours Degree or better OR have significant managerial / business experience.
Eligibility
Places are limited and open to applicants who:
- are over 18 years of age;
- are eligible to work in Northern Ireland;
- are ‘settled’ in Northern Ireland, and has been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least three years; or
- are a person who has indefinite leave to enter or remain in the UK.
