The project will review existing primary and secondary documentation on EU funding in NI and how it has contributed to equality of opportunity and good relations and assess the potential economic and social impact of the loss of such funding, and/ or any changes as to how that funding will be delivered, on Section 75 equality groups, and the promotion of equality and good relations in Northern Ireland. As part of the research the project team will consult with key stakeholders and draft a report on the basis of the desktop research and consultations, to make recommendations as regards future funding including the context of the proposed UK Shared Prosperity Fund and Investment Framework.
