At Ulster University we have access to outstanding sports facilities and expertise!

We pride ourselves in delivering high quality services that take standards of performance to new levels.

Our Fitness Assessment and Strength & Conditioning (S&C) services have been used by a wide range of sports teams, from Junior academy athletes (Ulster Golf, Ulster Badminton, Larne F.C,  and the I.F.A) through to senior international athletes and squads (Irish Boxing, Ulster Rugby, Irish Hockey and the Tyrone senior football squad). We have something to offer all sports at every level of performance.

Facilities

Our outstanding strength and conditioning facilities at the Jordanstown Sports Village, Coleraine and new sports centre at the Belfast campus are testament to our claim.

The facilities house racks with integrated and stand-alone platforms combined with plates and bars. The main facility is large enough to accommodate large squad training sessions (max 30 athletes) and contain an indoor sprint track section, plyometric boxes, dumbbell area, two multi station pillar systems and a mezzanine area for cardiovascular training or rehabilitation work. The close proximity to an indoor 3g hall, indoor athletics area, sports halls and recovery suite renders it the perfect training environment!
