Ulster University is delighted to be a partner of the Belfast Learning Festival which is taking place from 9 – 13 April 2025.

The theme for this year’s Festival is ‘Creating Connections’  which aims to promote the idea that learning is a lifelong journey, encouraging individuals of all ages to connect with new knowledge, skills and each other.

With 130 free events over five days across the city, Belfast Learning Festival shares the joy of learning through free classes, demonstrations, performances, talks, tours and workshops.

Ulster University Events

This year, Ulster University staff have organised a variety of events to interest all learners in the community.

Majella Clancy: Matter out of Place Exhibit

  • 6 March - 10 April 2025
  • 9.30am - 5.30pm
  • at Ulster University Belfast Campus Art Gallery, Entrance Block BC

This exhibition brings together ideas around the gendered body, its relationship to motherhood and material making. Clancy draws from life, building up a lexicon of experiential references which are then foregrounded through her painting and printmaking practice.

LEGO: Building Connections

Have fun as you explore the world of LEGO and take on STEM challenges! Aimed at primary school aged children, this engaging and fun session demonstrates how we can use LEGO to support future educational outcomes and make new friends.

This is a private event for schools.
