Ulster University’s Dr Esmond Birnie, senior economist presented oral evidence to the Exiting the European Union Committee on Tuesday 15 October 2019 at the House of Commons.

The session examined the ongoing withdrawal negotiations around the UK’s departure from the EU in respect of a Northern Ireland backstop and customs arrangements consent mechanisms.
