Ulster University proudly presented a diverse range of workshops, talks and interactive activities for young people, parents and schools as a Northern Ireland Science Festival partner for the second year in succession.

Over the course of the 10 day festival our experts delivered six science events covering sessions ranging from stem cells to the genetics of human fitness, health wearables, aerospace, the future for transport and sustainable energy.

Additionally, furthering our commitment to science, technology, engineering & maths (STEM) we celebrated ideas and creativity at the intersection between arts and technology and participated in a number of debates and podcasts.

Encouraging more females to explore STEM related careers, Ulster University engaged & inspired the next generation of female scientists and technology pioneers during a Grand Challenges for Females in Engineering event at our Jordanstown campus.
