Ulster Business Festival: Showcasing Enterprise Opportunities

10 May 2013

The inaugural Ulster Business Festival comes to a close today with events at the University's Belfast and Coleraine campuses, plus an innovation online discussion broadcast live via a Google+ Hangout.

At Belfast, the Ulster Business School brings representatives from the IRFU and Resource Group on campus to outline the bespoke training developed for both organisations by the University to address their specific training needs.

Later, the Coleraine campus mounts a workshop event showcasing student enterprise, at which the discussion will focus on creating a collaborative plan or the future that will make the most of the creative and entrepreneurial energies of Ulster students.

The three-day Festival closes with an online discussion on Creative Industries and the Digital Economy in the norh-west , bringing Magee-based digital economy innovation experts Dr Kevin Curran, Professor Paul Moore and Eddie Friel together with Derry Digital Champion Mark Nagurski in a Google+ hangout to discuss how the business community in the north-west can capitalise on the many opportunities presented by the latest developments in digital technology.

You can follow the discussion live at 2.15 at www.youtube.com/user/UlsterUniversity and tweet questions or comments for the panel to @UlsterBizFest
