    • 20 May 2022 - Withdrawing support for Internet Explorer

      Microsoft are withdrawing support for Internet Explorer in June 2022. Microsoft Edge is now the University’s corporate default supported web browser.

      In preparation, Digital Services will implement the above configuration change at 11pm on the 20th May 2022. It will require a reboot of your workstation.

      For guidance and more information relating to this configuration update, including how to migrate favourites from Internet Explorer to Microsoft Edge, please refer the following knowledge article:

      All services will be fully restored following the reboot.  Please advise the Service Desk of any issues.

    • 5 May 2022 - 10 May 2022 - Banner Upgrades (Systems now restored - Completed ahead of schedule)

      * Banner Student Record System is now available for use.  All the necessary patching was completed successfully, without issue, which has allowed us to bring the service back earlier than expected. Thank you for your patience during this essential downtime.

      Banner Student Records System will be unavailable from 2pm on Thursday 5th May 2022 until Monday 9th May 2022 to apply business critical software upgrades.

      Banner (all functional areas), Online Applications, Online Enrolment and Faculty Grade Entry (marks collection) will be unavailable. The Cognos reporting environment will NOT be affected.

      Services will be restored as soon as possible and will be operating ‘at risk’ on Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th May 2022.

    • 30 April 2022 - Unidesk Upgrades

      Essential Unidesk upgrades will be carried out on 30th April. Unidesk self-service will be unavailable during this time.
