Shut Up and Write
Writing productivity sessions for PhD Researcher are organised throughout the calendar year.Shut Up and Write sessions will be hosted by our PhD Researchers in the Doc spaces twice a month. All PhD Researchers are welcome to come along and write together and meet colleagues from other disciplines.

Writing Retreats
We are part of a Collaborative Writing Retreat Partnership alongside other universities including Imperial College London, King’s College London, Queen Mary University London, University of Cambridge, University of Glasgow, University of Surrey, University of York and University of Bristol. This partnership offers online writing sessions to all PGRs and research staff across all the institutions listed. You do not need to book these sessions.
The Doctoral College also hosts regular Writing Retreats on campus and planned events will be listed on PhD Manager. Dates of Writing Retreats are promoted in the Weekly Update email.
