Thank you to all the University alumni, students, staff and friends who joined together in May to raise an incredible £35,000 in support of our students’ mental well-being.
Mind Your Mood – an innovative student-led initiative, run through Student Support – provides targeted support, in the university-setting, for those students most at risk at Ulster University. It aims to raise awareness of mental health, build resilience and provide interventions at the earliest stage of the development of mental illness.
At Ulster University, we want to help those students most at risk, so staff, students and graduates participated in the Belfast City Marathon, Virgin London Marathon, Newry marathon, a four campus cycle of 100 miles, football tournament and other events around the country.
The response was so positive that we plan to build on the success next year. We are calling on our alumni to consider being part of this motivating initiative - to find out how you can take part please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
