In September 2024, CDLE upgraded the university's digital learning environment to Blackboard Learn Ultra.
From Autumn semester 24/25, all online modules feature the new Blackboard Ultra layout.
Blackboard Ultra’s simplified structure and streamlined interface complies with accessibility standards and facilitates access on mobile devices. Blackboard Ultra will provide a more intuitive, streamlined interface, enhancing the student experience and reducing the complexity of staff workflows.
The CDLE team provide training and support for staff and students engaged in online learning throughout the academic year.
