Careers Café: The never-ending search for placement

Female student taking notes from a book at library.

A peer led discussion on some of the challenges students face in their career development. This time we focus on what can seem like the never ending search for placement.

At the Careers Café we focus on bringing the student voice to some of the challenges students and graduates face in progressing their career. Informal in nature, you can come along to just listen or participate actively by asking questions.

This Careers Cafe is focusing on placement. In our work with students we know that the search for placement can seem daunting and sometimes never-ending.

This experience can then impact on your confidence and motivation. We'll hear from those who have been there and done it and eventually, secured that placement. You'll get the chance to pose questions and overall, this will be a real conversation about the search for placement and we promise you will leave with some great tips and inspiration for moving forward with your search for placement.
