The Curriculum Management System (CMS) provides a single source of programme and module related information for the University.
Staff can create, maintain and print programme specifications, module descriptions and other documentation for evaluation and revalidation events.
The CMS is owned and managed by the Academic Office with support on technical and user-interface aspects of the service provided by Digital Services.
First line support for CMS is provided by Digital Services. Staff seeking assistance are requested to contact the IT Service Desk in the first instance.
Technical issues may be escalated within Digital Services and curriculum-focussed issues may be escalated to the appropriate contacts within faculties or the Academic Office.
The Academic Office has published a comprehensive set of customer support materials on its website.
These cover key topics in the curriculum life-cycle such as:
- creating and revising modules
- creating and revising programmes
- the faculty approval process
- and the evaluation and revalidation process
Digital Services support focuses on the technical and user-interface aspects of accessing the CMS.
CMS is now accessed through the Staff dashboard on the Portal using your Office365 login credentials.
Please use your staff email address (e.g. email@example.com) and the same password you use for email
It can also be accessed directly and saved to your internet ‘Favourites’ at https://curriculum.ulster.ac.uk/
