Choosing where to live
Deciding where to live is an important part of preparing for university life. You may choose to live in university accommodation, rent privately, or commute from home. Before making your decision, it’s worth exploring the benefits, costs and practical considerations of each option. You'll want to consider
- Length of contract
- Do you need to find money for a deposit?
- What bills are included in your rent and are these capped? Rates, utility, etc.
- What additional costs should I consider?  E.g. insurance, Wi-Fi, etc.
